I have been neglecting my blogging for the past couple of months because I’ve been concentrating on the release of my newest book. With the release date behind me now, I need to share some of the fun things I’ve been working on.
My friend’s birthday was in October, and I wanted to make her a warm, snuggly, pair of slippers. I’d seen a pattern a few years ago I wanted to learn. The best place to find patterns is through Ravelry. If you haven’t checked this site out, you can find it at Ravelry.com.
I found the pattern and purchased it. The new stitch I had to learn was the “crocodile” stitch. You Tube is the best place to search for “how-to’s” and that’s where I went.
The slippers turned out so cute and my friend loved them. The buttons aren’t just for decoration. They can be used to make the slippers tighter around the leg. What fun to make these!
