I’m not a theologian, I’m just a person created by God. God created all things and then God blessed both animals and man.
It is hard to imagine what Heaven will be like. The thought is so beyond my comprehension, I’m in awe. None of us know what to really expect, but I’m sure it will be glorious and beyond human description.
No more tears, no more pain, no more suffering, not more hatred.
I like to think God has planned a perfect place for our new bodies to reside. He will have jobs for us to perform based upon the purpose for which He created us and taught us through our journey on earth.
I can’t imagine he is preparing me to care for the gardens, because I am not good at nurturing plants. My husband, on the other hand, loved working in the ground and he had a special talent for growing beautiful things. I believe he will find joy working in the new gardens in the new earth.
I have no idea what God has planned for me to do, but I hope I can do it with an animal by my side!
In the meantime, until I am called home, I want to share with all I meet that God’s Word is alive and active in me.
I’m finishing my cup of tea and this short post with my cat Wilbur purring on the back of my chair. This brings me so much comfort.
Throughout the Bible, animals play an important in our history. I believe it’s true. There will be animals in Heaven.
May your day be filled with God’s blessings.
