Oh, how I enjoyed sitting outside yesterday! Greeting neighbors walking past, feeling the happy warmth of the sun kissing my skin, and hearing the birds singing all around me. When the sun touches my skin, I feel God hugging me. Front porch sitting is my favorite thing to do on a beautiful and sunny day. I worked on updating a color chart with new coloring tools I purchased this past year. I knew if I tried to read, I would probably fall asleep since the ambience is so peaceful! Didn’t want my neighbors to hear me snoring! LOL!
I believe greeting God and the beautiful life He created around me is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my life. From the moment He placed me here, I felt His love more strongly than ever before. Perhaps it is my age and not having my soulmate with me any longer. If God allows our loved ones to look upon us from Heaven, then I know my beloved husband is happy to see how I’m going on without him by my side. There is comfort is this.
Honestly, I do not know where I’d be today without Jesus in my life. The peace of knowing I’ll be reunited with my loved ones destroys all fear of my own death one day. I know where I’m going is my eternal destination and will be more awesome than anything I can imagine. Lifting my cup of tea with a heart filled with joy…a heart that longs for every person who reads this will turn to Jesus and receive the gift of salvation.
