In the Blink of an Eye – Hello, September!

Welcome, September. You have come unexpectedly. So quickly. And yet, 2021 has been a long, long year. Something not usual for one who has reached the winter season of life when time passes in a blink of an eye.

Time to think about fall harvests, pumpkin decorations, apple pie, and cider. A time of cooling air, crunch leaves underfoot, neon yellow and red coats on trees. The realization that Thanksgiving and Christmas are getting closer. And a new year.

What will each bring? For me, I will focus on the happy possibilities. The anticipation of family gatherings, and the first snowfall. The memories forged in love in the past as I decorate this year’s Christmas tree. The closeness of God in the warmth of my home. The promise that the future will be even better when I leave this temporary home.

God is good. Life is good. Hello and welcome, September!

Lifting my cup of tea and wishing you warm and loving hugs.

I'm a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and best of all a child of God. The beautiful colors in God's world lift my spirits and give me inspiration. Every morning is a new beginning, and a blessed gift from God! I enjoy a cup of tea each morning and give thanks to my Savior for life eternal.
