When I heard about the frozen fog we had received overnight, I looked out my window. In the early morning light I noticed the dull trees and bushes around the pond and canal. How weird this looked against the bright snow-covered ground! As I pondered this phenomenon, I thought what a good analogy this would be for what happens to us when we allow Satan to put doubts into our mind!
I can imagine a dull coating covering the conduits in our brain, trying to stop the truth from entering. Makes me shudder. But! We know the truth is stronger than lies. God’s light can penetrate through this and destroy whatever evil intent Satan has.
And now a little later, I look through my window at the sun rising…the sun God has provided and the fog is slowly disappearing. Thank You God for this day and your faithfulness!
